Note- I send out e-mail game summaries to interested parties. If you are interested, let me know and send me your current e-mail address and I'll put you on my Friends of Choate Water Polo e-mail list to keep you up to date. For many of you, I only have college e-mail addresses which are going out of date for some. Update me and keep in touch! Aaron Rak '97 has checked in. He's currently working for the CDC (Centers for Disease Control and Prevention) in Atlanta. He's doing well though more likely to be running marathons that playing polo these days. Chris Beck '01 has checked in more recently. He's stateside for a while and is advancing quickly through his Navy postings. He's safe and well, working hard and enjoying his work. Chris Beck '01 has been stationed on his first choice, the USS O'Kane. Chris will be stationed for now, at least, in Hawaii. I got a note from Jamie Lamere's '02 mom who passed on the link to the CWPA site summarizing All-Tournament honors for the fall 2004 season. Notably, Adam Rahal '01 and Jamie Lamere '02, both currently playing for Middlebury, earned First team All Conference honors for the North Atlantic Conference. Jamie made it as goalkeeper. Adam addtionally was named the Conference Player of the Year. Alex Wentworth-Ping '04 (Williams) also received Second Team All Conference Honors for the New England Conference in his freshman year . Good job, Wild Boars! Adam Rahal checked in (11/16/04). He is off to Collegiate Water Polo Club Nationals in Indiana on Thrusday, 11/18. Middlebury will face a tough squad from Oregon, a team that reportedly has some tough players out of D1 in California (back as grad students). Rahal will take on a big one in hole D. Good luck to Adam and the whole Middlebury team! Nessim Mezrahi '00 checked in today (10/14/04). He reports that he's doing really well and working for the Financial Management Program of GE Capital. He's currently working in consumer finance but works through rotations which have him relocating every 6 months. Keep in touch! Pat McCurdy '98 stopped by the pool on Oct. 9 to see some of our game with Andover. It was great to see Paco, if only briefly. I heard recently from Chris Beck '01. Chris will be finishing up at Wisconsin at the end of the fall semester and then be commisioned in the Navy. He's been a dedicated leader in NROTC for his whole college career. We are all wishing him well. Think good thoughts for Chris and all members of the armed forces at these difficult times. I heard from Eric Bostard '02. Eric is doing well. After two years at the University of the Pacific behind the New Zealand Olympic keeper, Eric has decided to transfer to Northern Arizona University where he is following passions for rock climbing and river guiding. Choate's All-American keeper from the 2001 season can be reached at puppyjnr@aol.com . Great to hear about Eric! Keep in touch, All! Season records and results for 1991 through the present are now available. See the Archives page for previous years.
